Tip: Hardwood flooring colors
The color of your hardwood floors will change throughout time so don't get too picky when choosing between very close shades of wood. Sunlight as well as aging will cause your hardwood floors to change colors as time goes on.

Use a dry but damp mop to clean wood floors. If too much water is used, the wood will absorb the water and begin to stain. It is also a good idea to put area rugs in high-traffic areas to keep the flooring clean.
